I believe in empowering families and parents to bring out the best in their children. I believe every child is capable of connecting with us and consider it a privilege that I have the knowledge to help families learn how to connect with their children and I find great purpose in helping families achieve these goals.
I am a board certified behavior analyst and over the past several decades have specialized in working with very young children and their families in designing naturalistic, developmentally appropriate play-based interventions for children. My focus of intervention is incorporating evidence-based treatment thoughtfully to promote reciprocal relationships, social and functional language, and parent support.
I received my Bachelor's of Business Administration from Texas Christian University and my Master's of Science in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas. I have had extensive post graduate training in Pivotal Response Treatment from the Koegel Autism Center, incidental teaching from the Walden Center at Emory School of Medicine, and am certified as a provider in the Early Start Denver Model approach. I have worked in establishing an inclusive preschool intervention program in the metroplex and most recently providing interdisciplinary services within the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities at the UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and Children's Medical Center.

I am a mom to two amazing children and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Both titles mean a great deal to me and define who I am. I have dedicated my professional career to working with young children and their families through an intervention approach that involves joining children in play to improve the skills necessary for taking the next step in their development. I believe parents are essential participants and working as a team allows the greatest progress to take place.
I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s of Science in Behavior Analysis. After attaining my BCBA credential in 2004, I was a provider in a private clinic and then was hired to create the first behavior analysis program in the Children’s Health system within the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD). After practicing for 11 years as a BCBA, I sought out and obtained additional specialized credentialing as an Early Start Denver Model therapist (ESDM) which is my primary treatment methodology.
I look forward to working alongside you. “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much”

Springling Since 2024
Emily began her education at the University of North Texas where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences. She always knew she wanted to work with children and when she discovered ABA, she fell in love with the field. Her next step was to pursue a Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism from Texas State University while working as a Registered Behavior Technician. After Emily became a licensed Behavior Analyst in Texas, she continued to serve families in New Braunfels for over two years before returning home to the DFW area.
Emily believes that successful ABA therapy includes high quality early intervention. Through her experience in ABA, she has discovered that human connection is one of the most valuable elements in life and strives to make a meaningful connection with each family she works with. Emily focuses on using her ability to connect, knowledge, and training to empower parents and loves ones to help their child reach their fullest potential. Emily believes that building a functional communication system for a patient is one of the highest value, and the most rewarding feeling is to see the joy on a child’s face when they realize they have the ability to express their wants and needs. Emily focuses on utilizing each child’s motivations and preferences to embed goals naturally to build skills in a way that is reinforcing for the patient. Each child is unique and deserves a unique plan and treatment to help them succeed.
